A tactical riflescope allows you to shoot more accurately at a greater distance or during close combat situation. Tactical scopes allow the shooter to spot an object with pinpoint accurately at a great distance. There are certain characteristics that must be incorporated in a scope for it to be called a true tactical scope. For example, it must incorporate an ergonomic design and be built to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Most tactical scopes are manufactured with a 30mm tube size and are relatively compact in size. They are equipped with Mil-Dot reticle system which allows the shooter to estimate range without limitations. Tactical scopes give the shooter as much control as is possible over extreme types of shooting conditions.
